  • Client was driving on a New Hampshire highway when her car was struck by a vehicle that crossed the center lane. The defendant claimed that the accident was unforeseeable in that black ice had formed due to a rapid temperature decrease. A settlement in the amount of $110,000.00 was reached.
  • Client was broadsided while driving through an interaction, when the other driver ran a stop sign. After recovering the limit of the other driver’s insurance policy, we brought suit against our client’s own insurance company under the client’s “under insured” coverage. A settlement was reached in favor of our client.
  • Client was hit by a car while walking on the sidewalk. He lost consciousness and was taken to the hospital. Although badly bruised and confused, the client suffered no broken bones. A settlement of $38,000.00 was reached with the driver’s insurance company.
  • Elderly client was dropped while being bathed at an eldercare facility. The client suffered bruises on her face and legs and experienced a great deal of pain. A settlement of $64,000.00 was reached.
  • Client broke his ankle while helping out on a construction project. Alcohol was served and consumed by several of the other persons helping on the project. A settlement of $35,000.00 was reached.
  • Client’s car was hit by a truck as he was waiting behind a stop sign. The client suffered two fractured ribs, resulting in medical expenses of approximately $500.00. After we took the case to trial, a jury awarded our client and his wife $7,500.00 for their losses.
  • A physician failed to administer a Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) test to a patient in 1993. In response to the patient’s inquiries, the physician simply informed him that a PSA test had high false positive and negative results. The patient was later diagnosed with aggressive metastasized prostate cancer. After we took the case to trial, a jury awarded the patient and his wife $1,500,000.00 in damages.
  • A physician failed to diagnose a patient’s cancer of the oral cavity in 1997. We brought suit on behalf of the patient’s Estate and his widow. A confidential settlement was reached.
  • Client underwent foot surgery and subsequently developed complications at the site of surgery. He eventually lost his toe because of the infection, which was not timely detected or treated. A settlement in the amount of $37,000.00 was reached.
  • Patient’s physician failed to diagnose an infection of the patient’s eyes, which developed while he was hospitalized. The patient was rendered legally blind. We brought suit on behalf of the patient and his wife. A confidential settlement was reached.
  • A physician failed to diagnose prostate cancer in a 56-year-old patient. The patient underwent several medical procedures and endured substantial pain and suffering. A settlement in the amount of $500,000.00 was reached.
  • A patient’s physician failed to test the patient for prostate cancer, despite the presence of symptomology. The patient was later diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer. A confidential settlement was reached.
